I have been using grubhub for the past five years and this is my first review. I ordered one chicken soup and one sweet squash soup. Both were incredibly delicious and warm. So fresh. The items were appropriately packed and tagged. The delivery was early and the delivery man was very nice. I will certainly order from here again. Thank you Rockin' The Ladle for the food and service!

I ordered the peach and minestrone and the potato leek too. All three were exceptional. It is hard to pick a favorite but the peach was unlike anything I've ever had before. It was delicious. The minestrone was filled with fresh vegetables and lovely grated cheese. I loved it. The potato leek soup was the best potato leek soup I've had.

The food here is much higher than I even expected. I did not think it would be as good as my friends recommendation but it was even better. Great ingredients and the food is really fresh and clean. The meatball was scrumptious and I lapped up all of the extra sauce they gave me. My tortilla soup was great and filling.

The people who run this place are very kind. I live really far from their kitchen and they still deliver to me, no matter how much I order. They've also gotten to know me and my sickness and sporadically throw in some special treats with my order. I'm very grateful to have rockin the ladle in the city!

I've ordered from here a few times and I really love this place. The soup is some of the best I've ever had (I especially love Spuddy Waters - potato leek, and Maized and Confused - corn bisque), the delivery man is very nice and I love the bread and occasional extras.

I ordered broccoli cheese soup and chili, and both were EXCELLENT. I was surprised by how quickly the food arrived, too, especially on a miserable rainy February night. The broccoli soup is so good that it brought up childhood recollections of The Coach Stop Restaurant in Middleburg, VA, where Loretta Jillson (R.I.P.) made the only broccoli cheese soup Ive ever really loved. This was in the 1980s, and Lorettas creations were favorites of not only my familys but of Nancy Reagan and Frank Sinatra, to name two.

I understand that only readers familiar with this restaurant 30+ years ago are able to really get how favorable my review is, but if you like broccoli and cheese as I do and think pretty much all of whats out there is garbage as I do, spend the $8.00 and give Rockin the Ladle a try. Im certain youll give it a thumbs up.

This place has the most dope soup Ive ever experienced. The twist and kraut was an unexpected delight reconstructed version of stuffed cabbage with the most exquisite sauce. All I wanted was something low carb but filling and this exceeded my expectations in every level. The choke in water was anything but watery and not sure how they infused so much flavor, density and into that artichoke but kudos to them. Ill be ordering here a lot more now that I have discovered them!!

This place just became our favorite place of all time. We ordered 3 soups and the meatballs and everything tasted way beyond our expectations. On top of that, they made a super tiny mistake in our order, but the customer service was completely on point and went beyond our expectations. They totally took care of it! Delivery was pretty fast, especially given we are not close. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Highly recommend (if you couldn't tell) :) !!!! Keep up the awesomeness RTL!

I ordered the soup duo with the "Maized and Confused" and the "Mr Tom-Ato" thinking that much soup would last me a few days. The maized and confused was so addictingly good that I couldn't stop eating until it was gone, and when I finished that I dug into the Mr. Tom-Ato. I just couldn't stop eating this delicious soup with all of that fresh tasting, locally sourced goodness. This will certainly be one of my go-to places in the future!
